Spreading the Love!

Love is in the air. We welcome the opportunity to be one of the first to congratulate all of the recently engaged couples. Now that you are engaged, the planning begins! Where are we going to host the Event of the Year!? What date works for us? What is my dress going to look like? Who are we going to have in our wedding party? Who are we going to invite? Who is our photographer going to be? OK, the list goes on. With all of these questions and concerns the last thing that you want to do is stress yourself out.

This is the part I love. I love to spread the love! On a personal note, when I got married all of these questions plagued me, and with all of this stress, I started to notice the stress in my skin. Fortunately for me, I had met an AWESOME esthetician and massage therapist that had performed miracles for me. On the day of my wedding I truly felt like the glowing and blushing bride!

Tyrone and Annie, Are Engaged!

Tyrone and Annie, What a beautiful couple! I had the opportunity to head out to Seattle a bit early to visit Tyrone and Annie and capture their engagement session. I am excited to be shooting their wedding in Seattle this upcoming April.

California Hwy 49

Since my husband and I had a free weekend to adventure out, we decided to take a day road trip to the historic Highway 49. Since we would not be able to travel the entire stretch of the Highway we chose to explore the stretch from Hwy 4 (Copperopolis) to hwy 49 (Sutter Creek).

This trip was exactly what I needed. With Autumn here, I was not seeing the change and I was desperately in the need of some changing of the leaves OR SOMETHING!! This was a beautiful drive. Chris was able to get his Bay Area Back roads itch out of the way and the funny thing was, we went through small towns that we have passed before in other trips, but this trip gave us the..."OH so that is where that road goes to". California is so huge and living here my whole life I feel like I have only just scratched the surface. I guess there are more day trips ahead of us.

We were able to stop at towns like Copperopolis and Sutter Creek.

Lindsay and Jake - Wedding

San Francisco weddings are always fun to capture. Lindsay and Jake's wedding was no exception. With their architectural background, I loved how they incorporated landmark buildings of San Francisco into their wedding.

Trang and Ray's Baby Shower

Saturday, I was so honored to be apart of Trang and Ray's Baby shower. This family, they know how to throw a party. If Grace Ormonde, had a platinum list for baby showers, the planning, decoration, food, games and fun would be on this list!

What a fun day! It has been a while since I had last visited with Wendy and Chris. Since the last time I had seen them, they had a beautiful baby girl, Makena. I was so excited that they had time in their busy visit to the Bay area to meet up with us and fit a 6 month photoshoot in. Makena is a natural model. What a Happy baby that is all smiles.

What a great way to kick off the 4th of July weekend.
